3 BOOKS TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS

Where are you exactly in the process of following the career of your dreams? Did you start looking for new opportunities? Left your job to start your own business? Turned to a part time job, to just discover what could be the things that light you up? Or just left for a 2 months trip in Asia to figure out who you are? And in this process, how do you exactly listen to yourself, to know that your decision is the right thing to do?

Everyone has it's own secret to tune in to an energy of pure creativity and intuition. But maybe you just didn't find it yet. I consider myself as lucky as I've never worked more than 2 years, in a job that didn't fit my inner wellbeing and dreams.

And how do you know when you need to change? It's basic. You'll first need time & calm, with yourself. A week-end can be enough, depending of your energy level, at that time. And here are some of my best 3 steps to come back to a very intuitive attitude towards life, the 3d STEP being very, very important : the "feel good" book therapy, to change your outlook on a situation...

STEP 1. WATER, MASSAGE, CANDLES (or a trip to Bali or Rome).

I've always loved making my own very nice spa in my bathroom. Taking hours in the process. But I can also offer to myself a Hammam session. This purifycation process is my step 1 to go back to my natural flow of creativity.

STEP 2. SLEEP, SLEEP, AND SLEEP MORE.

When I'm in this very soothing "me time" week-end process, I sleep until I feel completely energized again (hello mamas there, you'll have to let your little baby to the grandmas around da place, yeah girls you'll have to :). It's not about just sleeping for a complete night. It's about sleeping for a whole day and a whole night until you've had your amount of sleep you were missing since a couple of weeks already (even if doctors tell you that sleeping for a whole week-end cannot be as efficient as having a good night sleep every single day, when your mind is lost, for an energizing week-end, it's ONE OF MY FAV TOOLS).

STEP 3. 4 BOOKS TO FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS.

During this week-end, I light up candles, read cards, have creative writing sessions and start a new sweet, mindful creative book. For a fresh energy start. Because we all know many books carry with them, their amount of good vibes & energy that can help you shift a little, to a new attitude in your life (and this is the same with films & series so be aware of what you watch on Netflix on a daily basis a it really has an impact on your energy level, especially if you're a sensitive kinda girl boss like me 🙂

And here are the books that really did boost my energy & creativity + success for a while after I'd enjoy reading them:

BIG MAGIC, Creative living beyond fear, by Elizabeth GILBERT

You might certainly know Elizabeth for her incredible book EAT, PRAY, LOVE. In Big Magic, she digs deep into her own life to share her perspective on creativity. With profound empathy and generosity, she ponders the nature of inspiration, asking us to embrace our curiosity and face what we most fear. This is one of the books you really need to read if you keep asking yourself 'Am I right to follow my intuition?'

LIGHT IS THE NEW BLACK, & RISE SISTER RISE, from Rebecca Campbell

Most women have spent much of their working lives 'making it' in a man's world, leaning on patriarchal methods of survival in order to succeed, dulling down their intuition and ignoring the fierce power of their feminine. This book is about recognizing all of the ways we have been keeping ourselves contained and restrained in effort to fit into a certain archetype of woman. It's about co-creating a whole new archetype of woman - a woman who deeply respects the wise women in her life and cultivates her own wisdom every single day. Full of tools, calls to action, contemplative questions, rituals and confrontational exercises, this book teaches women that it is safe to let their energy rise.

ADVENTURES FOR YOUR SOUL, Shannon Kaiser

It's all about 21 ways to transform your habits (and we all know it's all about habits right? ) and reach your full potential. Shannon is one of those girls (just like me and some of you girl bosses) who left her successful career (in advertising for her) several years ago to follow her heart, and be a writer. She is the bestselling author of Find Your Happy

IL N'EST JAMAIS TROP TARD POUR ECLORE, (NEVER TOO LATE TO BLOOM), Catherine Taret.

For all those girls out their, who keep thinking they're already too old to trust their soul and finally be themselves. That you can reach the stars until you're 30 and that right after, something curious and terrible happen, that make you too old for everything looking just like the carrier of your dreams. It's never too late to follow your dreams & intuition and Catherine has this talent to tell you her story with sparkles & sweet words. Her book is like a 1 week spa for your mind, or a trip to Bali. But you'll have to read in french if you wanna discover her good words & vibes. OR wait for the english version coming soon, soon, soon!
